The focus will be on “SEARCH ADVERTISING ” which can be further broken down to the term SEM which means Searching Engine Marketing.
Search Advertising is a method of placing online advertisements on web pages or on an entire websites that show results from search engine queries;
If i should ask you, what is your first go-to place to get questions or information concerning a product, service or location?
You will most likely say Google right, yahoo or some other Search Engine such as Bing.com

Now if you click on that advert, I can imagine the thoughts running through your mind and can place a bet that you will be calculating how much you have in your bank account and how much you are willing to let go for the phone. So if you search and find out it’s a good deal then you go for it.
Now that simple curiosity led you to Google and Google led you to someone who puts his or her advert on Google. That is the simplest process of SEM
